It was a typical night in my crazy kitchen! (link in proThis recipe is tried & true AND even sneaks in some whole grain oats! I was always skeptical about a LOAF of meat BUT it’s delicious (trust) & the kids LOVE it. So, straight from my personal recipes here’s… GRANDMA’s MEATLOAF
1.5 lb ground beef
3/4 cup whole grain oats
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 cup Milk
Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Chicken bouillon cube
Preheat oven to 350. Mix the first for ingredients being careful not to over mix the meat. Sprinkle some Worcestershire sauce, use a generous amount of onion salt, cover the top with black pepper. Gently mix & form into loaf. Place loaf into a baking dish with a thin layer of water. Place the bouillon cube in the dish. Cover with aluminum foil & bake in oven at 350 for about 1- 1.5 hours or until cooked through.
