Display Your Jewelry: DIY

Lacey Framed Jewelry Wall Art

Earrings are sneaky little things and if you’re like me you can never find their match in a pinch. This is an easy way to organize and  turn your earrings into a piece of art.

Here’s what you’ll need: old frame, lace or tulle fabric, scissors, glue gun

1. Pop out the glass of your frame.
2. Cut your fabric to fit in the back. But, give yourself some extra on all sides.
3. Hot glue one side at a time, pulling the fabric as tight as possible each time. But be careful not to tear! Lace can be on the delicate side.
4. When it’s totally dry, trim the edges.
5. Decorate your frame with scrapbook tape or other fun items. If you’re using a vintage frame you can spray paint it a cool color before or just leave it looking rustic.
6. Remove the back and hang it on the wall or keep the backing and place it on a vanity or dresser. Attach all of you beautiful earrings and enjoy!

Chic and Crafty Jewelry Display

Don’t hide all of your fabulous jewelry! Display it for all to see using things you already have laying around the house. A good place to start it the china cabinet. I found a beautiful tiered cake stand that rarely got any use, placed it on my dresser, and turned it into a home for rings and bracelets. You can use wine glasses or champagne flutes for small trinkets. I even used the neck of a colorful wine bottle to display my bangles. Just look around the house and re-imagine the pieces your already have. You’ll be surprised how man goodies you have hiding in closets. And most importantly…now that you’ve displayed all of your beautiful jewelry you can actually see what you have! Happy Accessorizing!
